In this article, we share the steps to achieve pottery pieces with hexagonal/octagonal exterior walls.

Materials used:

• MDF bat (from €19)
• Underglazes (from €12)
• Xing clay ( €15)
• Brush (from €15)

Step 1: Throw your piece on a PVC or MDF bat, depending on your preference.

Step 2: Using a cutting wire, slice the facets to achieve the desired angles.

Step 3: Apply the underglaze with your chosen colors, then dry the piece using a heat gun.

Result: Admire the final result of the colorful glazed bowl before and after firing.
