Description

200L Raku Kiln: our kilns are built with Superwool bio-soluble blanket, making them the equipment of choice for potters wishing to explore the ancestral art of Raku firing. These kilns are designed to deliver an efficient, high-quality firing experience while meeting the highest safety and durability standards. With internal dimensions of 44 cm in diameter and 38 cm in height in the lower section, they provide ample space to fire work of various sizes, from small decorative pieces to more substantial wares.

Each kiln comes with a gas burner and a pressure gauge, specially engineered for Raku kilns and forges, compatible with butane, propane, and LPG gas. This setup ensures even heating and precise temperature control, essential for achieving the characteristic crackle effects and colour variations of the Raku technique. The included probe and thermocouple guarantee accurate monitoring of the internal temperature, giving potters the control needed to achieve flawless results.

The kiln also includes two refractory shelves, essential for protecting the bottom of the kiln and supporting your wares during firing. The kiln props (3 or 4 depending on the model) elevate the shelves to ensure uniform heat circulation and prevent direct contact with the kiln floor, which could compromise the quality of glazes and finishes.
